O Rosal, is located in the southern part of Galicia, the land closest to the Portuguese border, marked by the estuary of the Miño river and the significant influence of the Atlantic ocean.

The mild temperatures favour a nearly tropical landscape which combines vineyards along with other more exuberant plantations such as Kiwis or Mirabelle plums... Its border location, filling the scenery with towers and fortresses, gives it a mysterious appearance. An example of these mysterious sceneries is the Santa Tecla mountain, a prehistoric village located on the mouth of the Miño river.
