Zone Ribeira do Ulla

Location: Councils of and Vedra

Located in the area surrounding Santiago de Compostela, this stretch of the Rías Baixas Wine Route covers the middle course of the Ulla river and houses beautiful restaurants and accommodation, and of course, many wineries and distilleries which are linked to their famous wines.

Time seems to have ground to a halt in this land filled with Galician Pazos and large houses, which were traditionally the country homes of the noble families of Santiago de Compostela, and nowadays continue to exemplify the good life which can be provided by the most simple things nature has to offer: delicious cuisine, the gentle flow of the river, the hospitality of its people... and of course, excellent wines.
