Zone Val do Salnés

Location: Councils of Cambados, Meaño, Sanxenxo, Ribadumia, Meis, Vilanova de Arousa, A Caldas de Reis, Vilagarcía de Arousa and O Grove

The Val do Salnés is the area which is home to the largest number of vineyards and wineries of the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin. This is the Albariño territory par excellence, and it is the area with the longest established age-old wine traditions.

This area is also known for being one of the main tourist destinations within Galicia, not only thanks to the large number of beaches, with tourist towns such as Sanxenxo and O Grove, but also due to its wide range of leisure activities. Tourists can enjoy visiting monuments such as the Cambados stately home or the Armenteira monastery (Meis), as well as practising golf or nautical sports, visiting spas, enjoying the night life, etc.
