Adega Condes de Albarei is settled in Cambados, centre of Salnés valley, the subzone of D.O. Rías Baixas most related to Albariño grape, and birthplace of its wine.

Adega Condes de Albarei was founded in 1988, coinciding with the creation of the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin. The initiative of a small group of wine enthusiasts from the Salnés valley (which has nowadays reached 400), who united their efforts and vineyards in order to create and market Albariño wines of the highest quality.

Currently, the winery owns more than 300 hectares, overcoming the traditional problem of the area, small landholdings. This has enabled a higher level of exposure in national and international markets, as well as unification of production and quality criteria.
