Bodegas Pablo Padín has its origins in Dena, Meaño (in the province of Pontevedra), the heart of Rías Baixas, in 1986. This is the result of the transformation of the business started by Pablo Padín, which was devoted to grow Albariño grapes, and the subsequent commercialization within the local market.

Currently, the estate production amounts up to a 10% of the total harvest obtained from two small holdings located within the municipality of Meaño. Their extension is 3 hectares –about 7∙5 acres. The rest belongs to several vine growers from Valle de O Salnés, who supply the best grapes in the area thanks to agreements signed in the very beginnings of the commercial relationship. The technical staff acts as advisors by giving lectures and carrying out quality controls on the vines. Thus, actions to improve the growing quality of the raw material are taken at the very first steps of the production.

A strict quality control is carried out at harvest time, so that the incoming grapes keep optimum quality and preservation conditions.
