Casa Mariñeira Lourdes is located on the slope of Monte A Pastora, at the highest point in the municipality of Cambados long ago, it was used as a watchtower by the Celts, by the inlet of Arousa, at the very heart of Valle de O Salnés.

The current self-catering cottage, which started its activity in 2000, is built on a former farm, which was used as a store for fishing tackles and nets because of the owners occupation, adhered to the net of Galician self-catering accommodation. The house is in a paved pedestrianized street, 50 m off Museo del Vino the Museum of Wine, the remains of Santa María, and mirador de A Pastora, where the noble town of Cambados can be admired from above.

Boat trips along the marvellous inlet of Arousa are available on weekends.

The architectonic set is made up by two buildings joined by a patio that becomes a terrace for the cafeteria in summer. Here, visitors can enjoy the lovely summer nights provided by the microclimate of O Salnés. The inlet of Arousa and the groups of bateas flat-bottomed boats used to grow mussels lighthouses and lighted buoys can be looked at from the terrace. The house also has an orchard with vines, which is perfect for either a short stroll or a comforting rest for the traveller.
