Pazo A Capitana is located at the town of Cambados, within a beautiful building which dates back to the early 15th century, surrounded by vineyards. It is named after Doña Sofía Pérez Charlín, the last descendant of the well-known captain Severo Pérez Cardecid, who was born in this very Pazo in 1808.

The most traditional procedures meet the most advanced ones in this ancient and traditional vineyard so as to obtain excellent Albariño wines, particularly a wine known as espadeiro, highly appreciated for its quality and uncommonness. There is no other better place to taste it, indeed.

The Pazo has four centennial winepresses. This gave visitors an idea of the dimensions of one of the largest wine elaborating centres in Valle de O Salnés. Currently, one of the four winepresses is still operational. Autochthonous wines are pressed in it, while Albariño wines are processed utilizing modern technologies.
