The elaboration of wine has been a tradition for 100 years in the family Serantes. However, it was not until 1988 the same year the mark of origin Rías Baixas started off that the business consolidated.

The elaboration of these wines is improved by the incorporation of new technologies to the traditional procedures, in order to achieve not just an excellent quality, but a higher production.

The opening of the premises in 2003 was a preparation to confidently face the challenge of the upcoming years.

Concerning the products, mention must be made of the fact that these wines are elaborated from the purest Albariño grapes. This variety shows its best values at the region of Rías Baixas, thanks to the climate, and the composition of the soil.

The Albariño grape is small, with a golden yellow hue, an aromatic richness, and a gentle acidity. As a result it yields a fine, elegant, delicate wine.
