The Casa do Pescador in Cambados, also known with the name of Casa Jovita, is a former fishermen house that currently houses the Museo da Casa do Pescador (Fisherman House Museum). The house was completely restored, recovering its fallen roof and highlighting its walls built with local stone.

The museums shows the visitor the way of life of the old local fishermen, as well as their customs, information about reef knots, the captured species and shellfish gathering. It also allows us to know about the fishermen houses distribution and the elements that were used in their construction.

There are different items related to fishing and the sea on display in the Museum. It is endowed with important technological systems that allow interactive information by means of touch screens, visualization of contents through plasma screen, projection of the contents from the ceiling to the floor, background sound system...
