The Museo Etnográfico e do Viño (Ethnographic and Wine Museum), located at a former rectorial house that is linked by means of a footbridge to a newly-built construction, is the first wine museum in Galicia and one of the first in Spain. It is currently part of the Net of Museums of Cambados Council.

The expositive discourse shows a journey through the history, art, geography, popular culture and all of the aspects related to the wine and grape growing and production with the name of origin Rías Baixas. The building ground plan allows the combination of the tradition in the production of wine with the most modern techniques. The tradition and history of wine in the Salnés County is gathered in the old part of the museum, as there are modern boards and audiovisuals in different rooms of the new area of the premises where the processes of growing and elaboration of the Albariño wine are explained in detail.

The Museum is divided in three different floors. The reception area, shop, wine history, wine and grape growing and production research, viticulture and tools used in the harvest are on the upper floor; a winepress, a still, an outer exhibition area, an inner area devoted to temporary exhibitions and another part devoted to wine elaboration, tasting, production, cellars... can be found on the lower floor; finally, there is a library at the disposal of those users who apply for it.

The Museum is also known because of the offer and organization of different courses related to the world of wine.
